– New location, new “fresh” store and full focus every day creates good results, says store manager in this year’s Bik Bok store in Norway, Marianne Fallsen.

She has worked in Bik Bok for four years, the last two in Åsane, and she became store manager in August last year when the store moved from the A building (Arken) to the B building. Now her department in Åsane Storsenter has been named shop of the year.

Hanging high

– This is awesome. Our department competes with all the stores in Norway, so this price is high, she says.

– Why did you win?

– The price is performance-based and we get points based on how many customers we have and how many garments we sell. We increased our turnover by 44 per cent in 2023 compared to the previous year and had a turnover of seven million in 2023.

– In addition, we have very motivated and skilled employees who work towards the goals we have every day.

– Can not be compared

– What did the move to the B building mean?

– It has been of great importance. We now have larger premises which we have refurbished, and not least the location in the middle of the pedestrian street in Åsane Storsenter is of great importance. It cannot be compared to how it was before, says Marianne Fallsen.
