Start of negotiations for HK Norway and NHO for the Standard Agreement

The tariff negotiations between HK Norway and NHO for the Standard Agreement start today 2 May at 12.00. Two days have been set aside for the negotiations, which are scheduled to end on 3 May.

We want to keep members up to date with new information as soon as a negotiation result is available. If we do not agree, we must prepare for a round of mediation with the Ombudsman. Then it is possibly the Ombudsman who calls us in at a later time. If this becomes applicable, we will give you more information about it. The representative office in HK Norway met earlier this year to decide which overall matters are most important to our members prior to the salary settlement.

Important for members:

Update your information: Make sure your contact information is up to date so you can get information quickly. You can update your information in our new member portal, which was launched in April this year, by logging in to My page.
Recruit more members: Your and HK Norway’s negotiating power increases with more members. Talk to your colleagues about the benefits of being a member of HK Norway. Remember that all members, including new ones, are covered by strike support in the event of a strike.

Information for non-members:

Employees who are not members of HK Norway and who are made redundant due to a strike, will not receive strike support from us. It is also not possible to receive unemployment benefit from NAV.
