– The first report came at 0050. Then there were three Russian buses making noise in Tennebekk Loddefjord, says operations manager Ingrid Teigland Tepstad.
When the police arrived at the scene, they were about to finish.
A little later, around 0100, there were many reports of noise from Nordahl Grieg upper secondary school.
– A lot of people called us. We received a report about a lot of noise and loud music from the school, says Teigland Tepstad.
The police eventually sent resources to the area, but by then the Russian had already left. The next message about Russian noise came at 0140.
– We received reports of very loud music in the Lyseparken area. The Russian has probably moved here from school.
They sent several patrols and were met by several Russian buses. The music was stopped and the Russian was told to leave the area.
– There were residents in the areas who called in to complain about noise from the Russians. People go to work and want peace when they go to sleep, says the operations manager.
– Do the police expect more such nights of noise during the rush hour?
– In terms of experience, there may be noise in the future, but it is difficult to say, concludes Ingrid Teigland Tepstad.
