17-year-old to hospital after violent incident in Sandefjord (NTB)
A 17-year-old boy has been taken to hospital after being knocked down in Sandefjord on the night of 1 May. According to the police, the boy probably suffered a concussion and he was taken to hospital.

The police were in Melsomvik in Sandefjord just after midnight after a report that the 17-year-old had been beaten. There were just over 100 young people at the scene, and the course of events was unclear, according to the police. read more

The police have stopped several “streetmeets” in Eastern Norway (NTB)
The police have stopped several so-called streetmeets, where races are organized, in Follo. On the night of Wednesday, a motorcycle was measured at 177 km/h in Ullensaker. Among other things, the police intervened against a hit on the E6 at Støkken in Vestby, the East police district informs VG. There, all traffic was stopped by the racers.

– They interfere with all other traffic, so a race was carried out. It is completely reprehensible. A high-speed road should not be used as a race track, says operations manager Finn Håvard Aas. At 1.30 the police report that a motorcycle was measured at 177 kilometers per hour in Ullensaker. The driver, a man in his 20s without a motorcycle licence, tried to run away, but was stopped a short time later.

Earlier on Tuesday, the police stated that they had stopped around 25 Swedish cars at Svinesund, cars that the suspects were on their way to a “street meet” in Norway. These were deported back to Sweden. read more

On Friday evening, the police stopped 25 Swedish cars that were supposed to have been on their way to a so-called “streetmeet” in Norway. The Swedes had to turn around and drive back to Sweden.

– There was information that they were going to block stretches of road and race. Based on that, we have combined forces, stopped them and turned them around at the border in cooperation with the Swedish police, says operations manager at the Eastern police district, Svein Walle, to NTB.

The police have here adopted Section 7 of the Police Act, enforcement of public peace and order. It states, among other things, that the police can intervene to stop disturbances of public peace and order or when the circumstances give reason to fear such disturbances. read more

Man attacked several people, broke a window in a door and was aggressive in connection with a party in a venue in Bjørndalsskogen. The police sent more resources and got control of those involved. No one was injured. It is possible that there will be a report from some of the aggrieved parties afterwards. The suspect (man in his late 30s) was removed from the scene. He was calm when the police arrived.

Noise, drugs and fights in Øygarden outside Bergen (West police district)
A lot of Russians and several Russian buses have gathered at Straume during the night. Some complain about noise and intoxication. Also reports of fights/approaches to fights. The police have been at the site for large parts of the night with several patrols as a precaution.
