KOKSTAD: Joakim Gunler, managing director of Leo’s Lekeland, says so in a press release from the company.

Now Lekelandet, which has premises in Kokstad, among other things, has launched a free offer for children aged 0-23 months and their parents.

Early bends

Every Wednesday between 10am and 2pm, the target group gets free access to all 41 play countries in Norway, Sweden and Denmark. The “Toddler Day” concept also means that parents get tips on basic motor exercises for toddlers.

The offer was launched on 24 April and will be available for a trial period until 30 June.

– The earlier children start moving, the better. With “Toddler Day”, we make movement a natural part of the child’s life right from the start. At the same time, we create a place where parents on leave can meet, says Joakim Gunler, managing director of Leo’s Lekeland in the press release.

Healthy start

Parents and children will also get tips on basic motor exercises, which are good to do together with the children. Gunler says that it is important that the offer is free for the target group:

– The latest Pep report (a survey of health habits in Sweden, editor’s note) shows that every third carer with a low income has difficulty paying for their children’s sports activities. In this way, we want to lay the foundations for health early on, and give all children the same chance for a healthy start. As the Nordic region’s leading playground, with several million visitors annually, we can influence many, says Gunler.

Alongside Toddler Day, Leo’s also works with the Sports Day concept. This was launched in 2018, and is now a permanently discounted day every Tuesday.

Leo’s Lekeland was started in 2006 and today has a total of 67 facilities in the group (27 in Sweden, 9 in Norway, 5 in Denmark, 24 in Finland and 2 in Germany).
