While it has been a quiet night for the police in Nord-Trøndelag, there has been a lot of work in the capital of Trøndelag.
The police received a report of an aggressive man who had locked himself in a toilet at the fast boat terminal in Trondheim on Monday evening. When the patrol arrived at the scene, the man had fallen asleep. The man, who is in his 50s, was woken up and expelled from the scene.
In the same city, the police stopped a driver who chose to drive without a valid driver’s license on the night of Tuesday.
– It is now the third time he has been stopped for this in a short time and there is great reason to believe that he is hitchhiking, the police report.
The car was therefore parked and the plates taken. The driver will be reported for driving without a valid driving license and will be banned from using the car.
Inside the Strindheim Tunnel, the police received a report of a drunken man walking inside the Strindheim Tunnel. The person was lying in the fetal position in a westbound run slightly inside the tunnel when the police arrived at the scene. The police spoke to the person. The tunnel was closed for a short period due to the incident.
