The emergency services are on their way to the shopping center in Loddefjord after reports of a fire in a car in the parking facility, says operations manager Tore-André Brakstad.
According to him, the car is parked at the south end of the car park.

– We received a report from a person on site about smoke and fire on the lower floor under the shopping center itself, says duty commander Shahrooz Lahooti at the 110 central.
– Evacuation is underway, he says.
The police received a report of the fire via the fire service at 11.04am.
– We received a report of a fire in a vehicle in an underground garage connected to the shopping centre. There is a car that has caught fire, and it is uncertain whether there is a risk of spreading, says operations manager Brakstad.
At 11.20 the police state that the fire has been extinguished. It was reported at 11.18. At 11.31 it was reported that good control was being taken to ventilate smoke and to get an overview.
– There must have been one person in the car. The person must have inhaled some smoke, and is being monitored by health personnel. But the person must be alert and aware, says Brakstad.
Duty commander Shahrooz Lahooti at the 110 central says this at 11.45am:
– A fine search has been carried out in the entire garage facility. Everyone has made it out of the facility. It was good with smoke. A dog has also been evacuated from a different car than the one that caught fire.
Lahooti states that there was a fire in a fossil car.
Do not enter with large cars
According to Brakstad, it was not possible for the large fire engines to get into the garage.
– As of now, we do not have an overview of how many people have been evacuated from the shopping centre, but everyone must have made it out of the garage. There is no information on other personal injuries, says the operations manager.
He says that the fire service is carrying out ventilation and a thorough search of the facility, to see that there are no more people left.
