On 1 May, there is an extensive program from morning to afternoon, including a morning revelje outside Folkets Hus, breakfast, a concert by Halden Janitsjar, and the train itself which starts from Torget at 13:00. A varied program will include contributions, speeches and cultural features, with keynote speaker Stein Erik Lauvås.

Oslo Ace at Aladdin Stage

From 19:00, the 1 May Committee in Halden, Halden Visescene, LO Halden, and the Labor Movement cultural network invite you to an evening of workers’ songs and fellowship.

It is also worth noting that the rock band Oslo Ess is in place in the Aladdin Scene on the evening of April 30, although the concert is not part of the official programme. It has become a tradition for the band to play in Halden on the night of 1 May.
