Color Line, Sandefjord | The hybrid had to interrupt the voyage – returned to Sandefjord

(Sandefjords Blad): – It was for medical reasons that the ship had to turn around and return to Sandefjord. There were two guests who needed help, says sales and marketing manager at Color Line, Nina Moland Andersen, to Sandefjords Blad.

According to myshiptracking.com, the ship left the pier at 10.15am. Just over 20 minutes later, the Hybrid was back in Sandefjord, and the reason was that two passengers needed medical attention.

When SB was out on the quay at 10.50, there were two ambulances on the outside of the ship.

– I cannot say anything about the condition of the two. From our side, everything was done correctly, they are now put ashore and they have received the help they need, says Moland Andersen.

Shortly after 11.00 the ship backed out from the quay again, to turn the bow towards Sweden.

– Naturally, we will be a little delayed in getting to Strømstad now on the first departure. But we must be as quick as we can be in Sweden, and return to Sandefjord as soon as we can. We will try to make up some of the time we have lost, and we therefore hope that we can follow the timetable again this afternoon, says the sales and marketing manager.

The second departure of the day to Strømstad is scheduled to depart at 17:00.
