Knuden is at seven teaching sites in Kristiansand with the Sesam offer, which is an interdisciplinary activity offer for children in the 2nd year, where the children get a taste of different forms of expression and subjects from the cultural school. Throughout the year, they will explore singing, rhythm games, instruments and music video production. In addition to theater play, puppet shows and exciting visual art projects, some of which are exhibited.

— The Knuden is happy about the opportunity to use the beautiful new premises at the school. The offer will be available to 48 children in the 2nd stage, and it is also open to apply for children who attend schools nearby. At Sesam, we emphasize play and the exploration of music, theatre, dance and art together, says Birgitte Lindebø Skeie, who is subject coordinator at Sesam.

The application deadline is 1 May, and you can find more information about the offer here:

– It is fantastic that Knuden gets the opportunity to use the school’s beautiful art and music rooms in the afternoons, thus making the school an important arena for children and young people outside of school hours. By moving the teaching from Lovisenlund school to Wilds Minne, we get access to spacious music and craft rooms, which are perfectly suited for Sesam and our offer, Skeie says enthusiastically.

“These premises are really ideal for Sesam and what we want to offer. We now hope that many will apply before the deadline of 1 May, concludes Skeie.
