One of the Palestine activists who followed Sylvi Listhaug was arrested by PST right after she dropped off the children at school.
Wednesday 24 April at 21:20She says that to NRK.
– We react to the implementation and the time at which it was done, says lawyer Astri Rønningen Stautland at Elden Advokatfirma.
She is the woman’s defender.
– Right after she has delivered the children, when the phone rings at 8:30, she is arrested by PST on the school grounds, in the presence of both children, parents and teachers, says Stautland to NRK.
Statskanalen writes that plainclothes officers from the Police Security Service (PST) approached her and informed her that she had been arrested.
Three activists are charged with reckless behavior and for endangering the work of a parliamentary representative because they followed Frp leader Sylvi Listhaug in March. All deny criminal guilt.
– Experienced dramatically
Senior adviser Martin Bernsen in PST will not comment on the point of arrest to NRK.
– We are in the middle of an investigation that is still ongoing, and do not have the opportunity to go into details such as the time of arrest, says Bernsen.
He says they still understand that it can feel uncomfortable to be arrested.
– We can understand that an arrest can be experienced dramatically by those who are exposed to it. From the police’s side, we tried to make it as undramatic as possible, says Bernsen to NRK.
