THE DRAMA: On Wednesday afternoon, the police went out to Henrik Ibsens gate after receiving reports of a collision between a scooter and a car in Henrik Ibsens gate.

At 17.23 the police report that the ambulance is already on the scene and that there are probably no serious injuries.

– The police on the scene report that it is a minor boy on a scooter who has hit a stationary car, the police update shortly after the first report.

The incident must have happened at the intersection of Hotvetveien and Henrik Ibsens gate. The police have had manual routing at the scene, but at 5.30pm traffic is moving as normal again.

Drammens Tidende’s reporter at the scene reports that there is damage to the bodywork of the car.

Viktor Bjørnstad, police student at the scene, tells Drammens Tidende that it was a child who hit the car.

– That child has ridden a scooter and has been taken to the emergency department with some injuries. The degree of damage has not been clarified, but it is not critical, says Bjørnstad.

According to him, the police will investigate further at the scene by questioning witnesses, the driver and the child’s mother.

Bjørnstad cannot establish that the car was stationary when the accident occurred.

– It is something we are going to investigate, but we don’t know yet.
