The manager of the cannabis cafe himself estimated that he sold around NOK 50,000 before he was shut down by the police.

It is NRK that reports that charges have been brought in the case.
– The case is currently coded as gross infringement. But the coding will be considered in more detail when a prosecution decision is to be made, says the prosecution officer in the case Camilla Brekke to NRK.
The cafe was opened by Roar Mikalsen, the leader of the Alliance of Rights-Oriented Drug Policy (AROD).
When VG wrote about the case on Saturday, the queue stretched outside the premises and far down the pavement.
– Very positive. It doesn’t seem to end, Mikalsen told VG.
But only an hour after opening, the cafe was closed by the police, who confiscated both money and cannabis.
And instead of standing behind the till, Mikalsen ended up being questioned by the police.
Mikalsen himself hoped to get the case before the court, and that the issue surrounding human rights and drug policy should be decided by the court.
