Recalling bacon

--

Did you shop across the border this weekend? Danish Crown is now recalling Tulip turkey bacon following the discovery of salmonella, writes the Norwegian Food Safety Authority, the Swedish Food Safety Authority, in a press release.

The recall concerns 110-gram packages of Tulip turkey bacon with EAN number 5707196171938.

Production date is 26.03.2024; Best before 30/04/2024.

The Swedish Food Agency advises customers who have bought this to hand it in to get their money back, or throw the product away. Salmonella can cause diarrhea and general discomfort if the bacon is not cooked hot – and long enough.
