No witnesses
It was close to the family of the deceased Agnieszka Anna Brozyna who was traveling with the two victims, the police said.
– The investigation so far shows that there have been no eyewitnesses to the accident itself. The police cannot therefore say anything for sure about how the two victims ended up in the water. However, there is nothing to indicate that this is anything other than an accident with the worst possible outcome, says police station chief Liv Versland Seland in the Agder police district.
Considering search
After the incident, a large area around the accident scene was searched in connection with the rescue operation on Sunday evening and overnight into Monday.
– It is now being considered whether a search should be launched for the presumed death. A decision has not been taken on when and where a possible new search will be carried out, says Liv Versland Seland.
The two ended up in the sea from the plateau by the caves in the picture.
