The Kulturprisen is an honor for long-term efforts for cultural life in Rogaland, and consists of a statuette of John Th. Josefsen and a sum of money of NOK 100,000.

CULTURE: Since 1979, the county council has awarded its annual cultural award. Over the years, so many have received the award.
Rogaland county council is these days out to remind you that the deadline for nominations is approaching. Individuals, municipalities, institutions and voluntary organizations are free to put forward proposals about current candidates.
As mentioned, no one from Randaberg has been awarded this prize. The last four years have
won the prize. If you have proposals, they must contain a full description and account of the work the candidate has carried out, and the significance the candidate’s work has had for cultural life in the county.
The cultural award is presented in a county council.
