When Helene Hima (28) appeared in the scandal series “Ex On The Beach” in 2018, she was described as a firework from Haugesund, and it didn’t take long before the 28-year-old became the talk of the town among TV viewers.
Confirms flirting
After she made a name for herself in the scandalous reality show, several exciting TV assignments lined up, including “71 degrees north”, “Første date” and “The Bachelor”.
Now, however, the pipe has taken on a different sound, and Hima can reveal to Se og Hør that she gives in to that type of reality.

– I am doing very well during the day. People say I’m glowing, and I really have to agree. I feel like I’m walking on a pink cloud.
Hima smiles, she both looks and feels happy. The angry and sometimes frightening appearance has completely disappeared.
Had to talk to a psychologist after the participation
The 28-year-old is far from who she was when she first appeared in front of the camera. What has happened?
– Is it that noticeable? I always want to be Helene, but maybe you change for the better the older you get? I am much more confident now than I was before. I’m not a “drama magnet” anymore either! Now I prefer to be quiet and calm, and appreciate more that it is safe and well around me, she admits to Se og Hør.

Found happiness on my own
Hima did not find love on either “Første date”, “Ex On The Beach” or “The Bachelor”. She has done that entirely on her own – and it has turned out to be a small recipe for success.
To Se og Hør, she reveals that love is blossoming like never before, and that before long she and her boyfriend can finally share the same address.

– I am really looking forward to moving in with my boyfriend now! I have lived in the capital for the past six years, so it will probably be a bit of a transition, as he is from a small town. But I hate long-distance relationships, and can really live anywhere as long as it’s true love, says Hima, and adds:
– But I will probably be in Oslo around once a month due to various things. And then there is always a birthday or premiere that I would like to attend.

There are several things that come with moving from the city you’ve lived in for so long. Hima reveals that she has just quit her job at the nursery, and acknowledges that it is something that is actually a bit sad:
– I am very happy in that job, but I hope that I can still work with people when I move. I am in the middle of my notice period. I’m going to pack my things already this summer, so June will fly by, but my girlfriend and I have managed to book a trip abroad in July to relax a bit.

By many, Hima is still described as a slightly shy westerner. She understands where the allegations are coming from, but admits that not everything is as it seems, or has been portrayed on the TV screen.

– I am much calmer than many may have had the impression. People still get surprised, but I don’t really care anymore. This year has only been upswing after upswing. I have felt so happy that sometimes I have to pinch myself in the arm.
Although she has settled a little in her new life, she is also cryptic about what awaits the Norwegian public. She tells Se og Hør that she is working on several exciting projects, but these are secret – until further notice.

– Will there be a comeback? Or is it completely shelved?
– There will probably be no more “spotlight TV” on me, but the fact that I appear in a more proper program should not be overlooked at all, she replies with a sly smile.
