Moved out after a report of shots fired at a nightclub in central Oslo

The police responded to a report of possible gunshots at a nightclub in central Oslo on the night of Wednesday.

No one is injured.

The police received a report about the incident from people at the scene.

– We were on the scene within a minute and were met by several people on the outside who confirmed that such an incident had happened inside, and this is consistent with findings inside the scene, says operations manager Eirik Sannes at the Oslo police district to NRK.

The police have interviewed witnesses, carried out a crime scene investigation and have been searching for one or more perpetrators.

– No one has been arrested as of now, says Sannes.

The police want to carry out further investigations into the damage to the inventory to find out what concretely has been used.

– As of now, we are looking for a possible projectile or shot of one type or another, but what we do not know as of now, says Sannes to NRK.

The police only reported the incident at 01.52 after receiving a report at 01.21.

– Information we now have indicates that a person has displayed a weapon and a bang was heard, the police write in an update on the messaging service X at 03.38
