It is TV 2 that reports that the winners of the Gullruten statuette for best competition-driven reality, “The Game”, had their golden prize stolen at the after party on Saturday evening.

This is confirmed by the production company Mastiff.

– We kept it in a place where only we at Mastiff had access, and suddenly it was gone. None of us have taken it, so then we realized it had been stolen, says producer Anja Larsen to TV 2.

The company says that a search operation was launched at Hotell Norge where the after-party was, but that the statuette is still missing without a trace on Sunday morning.

The series is on TV 2 and has a number of well-known profiles as participants, including Anette Hoff, Danby Choi, Erik Thorstvedt, Martha Leivestad, Martine Lunde, Victoria Skau and Vidar Magnussen.

– It is very sad. This is many people’s price, and then it is strange that someone has taken it when it is not their price, says the producer.

Mastiff hopes the culprit gets in touch and returns the prize. They consider whether the case should be reported.

Bård Tufte Johansen also claims the prize has been taken

Comedian Bård Tufte Johansen also seems to have been robbed of his prize on the night of Sunday.

He won the Gullruten for best entertainment presenter for “Nytt på nytt” on NRK.

“It was great with it for 2 hours before someone took it. Have checked around, no one has seen it,” he writes on his Instagram on Sunday morning.

He also gives a humorous kick to comedian colleague Snorre Monsson and claims he is the main suspect based on videos from the night.

It is not entirely unusual for Gullruten prices to disappear in the festive atmosphere. In 2022, Pia Tjelta’s statuette disappeared at a party, but she got it back after a repentant man came forward.
