It is the world’s largest and most popular Lego exhibition, a traveling exhibition that moves from place to place. It will soon appear in Jevnaker.

– This will be a very exciting summer for Hadeland Glassverk. It is the very first time the exhibition “Art of the Brick” is in Norway, and we know it will be a big public attraction, says Fosshaug.

From mid-May to September, you will be able to see the Lego exhibition at Hadeland Glassverk.

– Visitors to Hadeland Glassverk can look forward to close to 100 Lego sculptures. The exhibition is designed to appeal to both art lovers and Lego fans of all ages, and is particularly inviting for families with children, says sales and marketing manager Tonje Fosshaug at Hadeland Glassverk.

Four months

The exhibition opens on 11 May and ran until mid-September.

Visitors to Hadeland Glassverk can look forward to close to 100 impressive Lego sculptures. The exhibition is designed to appeal broadly to both art lovers and Lego fans of all ages, and is particularly welcoming to families with children.

The exhibition will hopefully make the glassworks an even more attractive travel destination, says the marketing manager.

– In the gallery, we have previously had large, well-known exhibitions, but this will be bigger than ever. The exhibition takes you into a lively and colorful world. The artist has used more than a million Lego bricks and has created over 100 works that excite both adults and children.

Own art form

The project has had exhibitions since 2007. Artist Nathan Sawaya, known for his spectacular sculptures made from Lego bricks, presents both reconstructions of world-famous works of art and original works that explore everything from jungle animals to everyday objects through Lego.

“Art Of The Brick” has been a global exhibition for a number of yearswith stops in over a hundred cities in 24 countries. With more than 10 million visitors to date.

– It has been mentioned as a top ten of the world’s “must-see” exhibitions by CNN in 2011, and is perfect for all Lego enthusiasts, art enthusiasts and families with children, says Fosshaug.
