The 55-year-old actor had to be rushed to hospital on Tuesday, after what his family describes as a “health-related complication”.

According to reports, Foxx was admitted to a hospital in Thousand Oaks, California, after suffering severe chest pains. News of his admission was first reported by TMZ, and it was later confirmed by Foxx’s representatives.
Getting better
Late on Wednesday evening, Jamie Foxx’s daughter, Corinne Foxx (29), reported that her father was on the road to recovery:
– We would like to share with you all that my father, Jamie Foxx, had a medical accident yesterday. Fortunately, thanks to quick treatment and good care, he is on the road to recovery, she writes on Instagram.
In addition, his daughter sent a thank you to all the fans who worried about her father.
– We know how loved he is, and we appreciate you praying for him. The family asks for respect for privacy at this time, she writes and concludes with a loving greeting from the family.
