Volkswagen ID.3 Pro S

Volkswagen’s ID.3 has recently been upgraded, and now the further developed Pro S edition is also coming.

The ID.3 was the first model on Volkswagen’s MEB platform, and the first cars arrived in Norway in 2020. The ID.3 has recently been upgraded, and now a new variant is being launched – the ID.3 Pro S. So far this year, it is the brand’s second best-selling model after the ID.4, and since the launch, according to OFV, just over 18,000 new ID.3s have been registered in Norway.

– The models in Volkswagen’s ID. family have been significantly upgraded. The ID.7 introduced the next generation of software and infotainment system, and came with popular functions such as preheating of the high-voltage battery. This has also benefited the other ID. models, and the upgraded ID.3 Pro S helps make our model portfolio even more attractive, says Sølve Kværn, acting head of Volkswagen passenger cars at Harald A. Møller AS.

More efficient charging

It is under the bodywork and on the inside that the changes have taken place for the Pro S. The improved engine has more economical consumption, and 204 horsepower is obtained from the 77 kWt battery. This gives a WLTP range of up to 553 kilometers.

The new model can accept charging speeds of up to 175 kW, while preheating the battery is also in place. This makes charging more efficient – especially in winter.

Five seats

ID.3 Pro S comes with ID.software 5.0, which provides both faster operation and a better user experience. The infortainment screen has grown to 12.9 inches, ChatGPT is in place and the voice control assistant IDA has also been further developed.

According to the importer, the car is well equipped, and a significant number of safety systems are in place. The new ID.3 Pro S is also delivered with 20 inch wheels as standard.

At the same time, one of the biggest news in the Pro S is that the car now has five seats.

The ID.3 Pro S is available to order and costs from NOK 395,900 delivered in Oslo. The cheapest version of the ID.3 with a small battery pack costs from NOK 348,900.
