The girl is said to have been gang-raped in the forest over a period of three days by ten underage boys with an immigrant background.
The incident took place in a wooded area outside the Belgian city of Kortrijk during the Easter holidays.
It was the girl’s 16-year-old boyfriend who lured her out into the forest, where around ten young people between the ages of 11 and 16 were waiting for her. This is written by Belgian HLN, which has had the case confirmed by the state attorney.
According to local media, all the suspects must have an immigrant background. One of the accused is a 16-year-old boy with a Somali background.
The girl is said to have been sexually abused up to three times over a period of three days, writes the Daily Mail. Among other things, she is said to have been “borrowed” by her boyfriend to other boys for sexual intercourse.
Photos and video of actions carried out against the 14-year-old must have been taken.
The girl was afraid to tell her parents and the police about what had happened. Several days passed before she dared to tell about the cruel acts.
On April 25, the police began arresting the suspects. A total of ten young people were detained. Six of the suspects were placed in a closed institution, while the other four were placed under house arrest.
