The narwhal’s forehead was not just fur.

Unfortunately, the Narwhal’s unusual appearance also attracted negative attention, necessitating stricter security measures by Mac’s Mission to protect him from people who saw him as abnormal and wanted to harm him.
His so-called forehead was not just fur, but an extra tail growing from his forehead. Since there was no medical reason to remove this tail, it was left to remain.
The narwhal quickly became a viral sensation after photos and videos of him were shared on Facebook.
After a while, Rochelle Steffen, the founder of Mac’s Mission, decided to adopt Narwhal herself.
She shared in December 2022 that Narwhal is thriving and extremely happy.
“He loves his big backyard and his siblings, Sonder and Asis,” Rochelle told FOX 35.
At the same time, she assured the curious followers that the tail on the forehead did not wag when he was excited. Only “the right tail” can do this.
Today, the little Narwhal lives a happy life with his new family, where he continues to spread joy and fascination with his two tails.
