The planned press conference with the Big Five; France, Italy, England, Spain and Great Britain, as well as the host country Sweden, in Eurovision are cancelled.
This is reported by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), which is responsible for Eurovision, on Friday afternoon.
The press conference was supposed to be held at 18:30, but has been canceled because “all artists want to focus on the rehearsals”.
This means that, among others, Marcus and Martinus, who represent the sweet brother, will not meet the press as originally planned.
The fact that they represent Sweden and not Norway has meant that several people, including Dagbladet’s commentator Ralf Lofstad, have taken jabs at the duo.
During the review of the first semi-final, Lofstad drew a humorous comparison that has caused the twins to react.
“And now: The brothers Qui …, excuse Marcus & Martinus”, wrote Lofstad.
Lofstad has later written an apology to the boys, and Marcus and Martinus have also been taken to the defense of the Norwegian hotel king Petter Stordalen.
