This is what they win in “Kompani Lauritzen”

--

For several weeks, the aspirants have struggled through bone-chilling exercises that have challenged both body and mind.

– Thought I was going to die

It is Stinius Maurstad (29), Knut Marius Djupvik (36), Jonas Lihaug (34), Mikkel Bratt Silset (33) and Silje Nordnes (39) who have made it to the grand final, and are thus competing for both honor and the prize .

– Symbol of heroic effort

In “Kompani Lauritzen” you win neither car, cabin nor money. As in previous seasons, this year the winner will also take home a sword to show off and own.

– That was hard

– In a military context, swords are often used as a symbol of noble and heroic effort, and were therefore also natural to use as a prize in “Kompani Lauritzen”, press manager Jan-Petter Dahl previously explained to Se og Hør.

This is also the reason why the winner of the program receives precisely a sword – and not a car, as can be done in reality programs such as “Farmen Kjendis” and “71 degrees north”.

The winners thus get their very own sweat, but that does not mean that the remaining participants necessarily go home empty-handed from camp.

The four finalists have in previous seasons been awarded “Kompanie Lauritzen’s” medal of honour, and have stood up with their own orange berets on their heads. They get this home with them, Dahl has previously confirmed.

– Not so important

When Carl Martin Eggesbø (28) ran away with the victory in the program’s second season, he could admit that it would have been nice to have money or a car, but:

– What I think is so nice about “Kompani Lauritzen” is that it is a competition, but it is not so important whether you win or not. It’s everything on the road that matters most. It’s like an entrance exam in the Armed Forces, you’re not done when you get through. The journey and the goal are the most important, he stated in connection with the victory in 2021.
