GAMLE LOGEN / OSLO (Se og Hør): Friday evening the stage is set for this year’s edition of the Vixen Awards. The award is an annual award ceremony that recognizes the country’s best influencers.
A number of Norway’s biggest influencers have taken the trip to Gamle Logen in Oslo on this occasion, where excited faces waited to see if they could travel home with a Vixen award in hand.
Here she does it again
See this year’s winners below!
This year’s fashion influencer: Jenny Skavlan
– This is so great!, says Skavlan from the stage.
Beauty influencer of the year: Leah Isadora Behn
From the stage, it was a very satisfied winner who received a prize.
– When I stood here a year ago, I had no idea what I was going to say, or who I was going to mention. We all saw how it went, and I don’t really know much this year either, she smiles.
– I feel that I will be so happy, because personally I have grown a lot, by going out of my comfort zone and experiencing many new things. What I love to do, more than anything else, other people also like. It’s absolutely sick.
Health influencer of the year: Wasim Zahid
Sports and training influencer of the year: Magnus Midtbø
Tourism influencer of the year: Julie Valsø
– No one who can hurt me
Entertainment influencer of the year: Johanne Massey
– Really, this is something that won’t sink in now, but tomorrow, because this is absolutely sick. I wouldn’t have dared any of that if I hadn’t had raw, female comedians to look up to.
– Martha Leivestad, really, damn it, it’s such a tough industry, but there has been so much love this week for female comedians, and I appreciate it so much, says Massey.
She refers to the row around VGTV’s “Rikets roast”, where Leivestad subsequently received harsh criticism from several quarters.
Lifestyle influencer of the year: Julie Lorentzen
It is his wife Camilla Lorentzen who accepts the award, on behalf of Julie.
– I didn’t really think I would be so moved, but then I felt a little teary in my eyes on the way up.
– Since I’m the one standing here, there’s something I can do that I’m never allowed to do at home, and that’s bragging about my wife. I am so proud of Julie, who every day chooses to be a role model for young, queer people, because she herself needed it when she was growing up.
Appeared on the red carpet
This year’s interior, home and outdoor influencer: Mads Clemmetsen
Food influencers of the year: August and Martin
Sustainability influencer of the year: Hanne Lene Dahlgren
Gold pen of the year: Frida Marie Grande
Strong opinion of the year: Kaveh Rashidi
This year’s role model: Morten Marius Skau
Shooting star of the year: David Mokel
– Thank you very much. I really just want to thank shaman Durek, says Mokel from the stage, to great laughter from Princess Märtha Louise, who is sitting in the hall.
Durek Verrett and Princess Märtha Louise are engaged.
Business of the year: Fæbrik
In tears: – Much more about me
People’s favourite: Jørgine Massa Vasstrand
Over 44,000 votes have been cast for the award, of which Vasstrand received over 30 per cent of the votes. She wins the award for the fourth year in a row.
– Wow. For the fourth year in a row, it’s actually quite crazy that a Sunnmørsjente sits here, who is described by many as tolerable and proud of herself. Nevertheless, it remains the people’s favourite, so many, many thanks, to an incredibly loyal audience – who clearly like a girl who dares to stand up for what she thinks.
Influencer of the year: Julie Lorentzen
Once again, it is his wife Camilla who accepts the award for Julie.
– Oh, look at my wife then, she boasts from the stage.
– My mother married us on the beach
Jury’s honorary prize: Emilie Voe Nereng
– I wish there was a little heads up for this, because I didn’t expect that. I’m totally shaking!
– I have been in this business for 14 years. It’s more than half of my life, so I’ve seen how everything has developed. It has developed in a direction, which I really have to say, I am extremely satisfied with, she continues.
– We started as daring, crazy people without any rules, everyone shared whatever the hell they wanted, without a filter, with a webcam. Now we have content producers and it is such a professional arrangement. We have become a group that cheers each other on, and each finds their niche and stands for something. That’s what I’m most proud of.
