During a private fundraising event on Saturday night, former President Donald Trump made several strong accusations against President Joe Biden.
The event took place behind closed doors at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.
There, according to NBC News, he is said to have compared Joe Biden’s administration with the Gestapo, which was Nazi Germany’s state political police during the Second World War.
The 77-year-old’s comments are said to have come as he spoke about his legal problems in connection with the ongoing trial against him.
The presidential candidate criticized the prosecuting authorities and the handling of the electoral fraud case. He then apologized on behalf of the 11 Arizona Republicans charged with signing false papers before Trump was declared the state’s 2020 winner.
NBC has gained access to audio clips from the event, which will reveal what went on behind closed doors.
– These people run a Gestapo administration, Trump said of the Biden office.

– If you care too much, you can suffocate. And in a way, I don’t care. That’s life.
He also called American lawyer Jack Smith, who is handling two cases against Trump, “an evil thug” and “disturbed”.
Hundreds of donors are said to have been present during the event.
