Eiksenteret Midt-Norge was recently awarded the “Example of excellence” award from Fendt for its fresh investment with the sale of four Fendt Katana self-propelled fine chippers in 2023.

Recently, Fendt organized a gathering for its dealers at the factory in Marktoberdorf, Germany. An important part of the program was attention to dealers who have distinguished themselves in the past year, and in this connection, Eiksenteret Midt-Norge was awarded the “Example of excellence” award. The reason is a successful investment in the Fendt Katana – a self-propelled fine slicer that Fendt launched late in 2022, and of which Eiksenteret Midt-Norge sold four units from the very first year of production in 2023. This is what Eiksenteret Midt-Norge writes in a press release.

– Self-propelled shredders are used to finely chop the grass fed to dairy cows. This treatment of the grass cuts the straw into pieces of approx. 2 cm in length, which in turn results in a higher intake in dairy cows and thus greater milk production. These are expensive machines, and they are often machine teams, i.e. machine collaboration between several farm users, or contractors who buy them. We are very grateful for the trust of our customers who bought Fendt Katana from us last year, and to those who do so this year. The machines have worked very well, and we are looking forward to the continuation, says Jon Magne Sæter, general manager of Eiksenteret Midt-Norge.

Eiksenteret Midt-Norge is a dealer for Agco, which supplies tractors, implements and harvesting machines from Fendt, Massey Ferguson and Valtra. The company had a turnover of NOK 690 million in 2023 and is represented by ten departments in Trondheim, Surnadal, Malmefjorden, Orkanger, Støren, Oppdal, Rissa, Stjørdal, Levanger and Steinkjer.
