Traffic and public transport, Routes | Large crowds are expected in the city center today. This is how public transport is affected

It’s 1 May and it’s International Workers’ Day. Large crowds are expected in the city centre, and not least Youngstorget where the main parade will take place from 12 noon.

This leads to closed streets, and a halt in tram traffic in the center between 12.15 and 14.30.

These lines are affected:

• Line 17 is set between Holbergsplass and Jernbanetorget
• Line 18 is set to Holbergsplass and Jernbanetorget
• Line 19 is set between Holbergsplass and Jernbanetorget

At the same time, several bus lines are affected today, but it is for completely different reasons than the 1 May celebration. Traffic must give way to roadworks or bicycle races.

• Bus line 76 is scheduled between Skullerud and Mortensrud T in both directions at 09.00-14.30
• Bus line 150 towards Oslo bus terminal is canceled between Vækerø and Vika Atrium from 22.00
• Bus line 42 towards Tjuvholmen is canceled between Maritim and Tjuvholmen from 22.00
• Bus line 250 towards Oslo bus terminal is canceled between Vækerø and Vika Atrium from 22.00
• Bus line 160 towards Oslo bus terminal is set between Vækerø and Vika atrium from 22.00
