Anita Hegerland’s eldest daughter has turned 36 – hold on to your hats when you see what she looks like today

There are few who have not heard of the Norwegian artist Anita Hegerland (63).

The Sandefjord native has had an adventurous career and she has by no means put the microphone on the shelf.

Already as a 7-year-old, Hegerland’s life took a huge turn when she was discovered during a Christmas show on the square in Sandefjord.

It was the start of a long and successful career. It was probably not so easy to imagine at the time that she would become Norway’s first million-selling artist – but she did, just 10 years old.

Hegerland not only became a big star in this country, but also beyond the country’s borders. Among other things in Germany, where she appeared in the country’s biggest TV show in the 1970s, which had 28 million weekly TV viewers.

In Sweden, she was referred to as a child prodigy.

56 years in music

This year, the artist has kept it going for a full 56 years, and she is still a much-loved and appreciated artist in Norway and in Europe.

Last summer she was busy with tours in both Norway and Spain. In addition, she is well underway with a brand new record together with guitarist Anders Buaas.

It was in the 80s that Anita Hegerland and Mike Oldfield hit each other. They began collaborating musically, and eventually became a couple as well. Together they had two children, Greta and Noah.

The love did not last – in 1991 the relationship ended. Anita Hegerland later had one more child – daughter Kaja with the Australian sound engineer and producer Jock Loveband.

The headlines have been many, the attention great and the spotlight enormous. Therefore, her children have also experienced success and everything that comes with it. The children, perhaps especially the two she had with Mike Oldfield, are born into the limelight.

Now Greta is 36 years old and Noah 34.

Most people will probably agree that the elder man looks a lot like his mother.

Today, Greta Oldfield Hegerland works as owner and general manager of “Goldfield,” the management that represents Anita Hegerland, among others. Greta’s little sister, Kaja, also works in the company.
