On Tuesday evening around 8pm, a major police operation took place at an address in a residential area in Södertälje in Sweden.
On Wednesday morning, the police stated that two children had died after a violent incident, according to Expressen.
– The children were found lifeless in the home, says Per Fahlström of the Stockholm police to the newspaper.
Two people have been arrested on suspicion of murder.
– There are family members, a woman and a man, says Falhström.
According to Region Stockholm, one person was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The police confirm that one of the adults was injured and needed treatment.
According to Aftonbladet, it is about stab wounds.
The police are not looking for more perpetrators.
– It feels sad. There is no longer any security in Sweden, says a woman who lives in the neighborhood to Expressen. She is considering whether the family should stay in the city.
– Should we move to another city, or should we stay in Södertälje? Because here we start to hear and see that something is happening almost all the time.
The newspaper writes that the police carried out investigations in the area and are talking to neighbours.
