Namdalen, Police | This has truly been a night for the history books

--

THE NAM VALLEY: Although nothing major has happened with the police last night, there is no reason to be silent. This is the very day when you let yourself be tricked by the same old tricks – and where you might lighten up your smile a little bit more.

We can also smile when we know that the flights to and from our beloved Namdal have become significantly cheaper as of today – only it’s literally an increase.

Then 1 April possibly means a bigger downturn for “man’s best friend”. From this date onwards, dogs must be kept on a leash, which lasts until 20 August.

Otherwise, today is also Easter’s big homecoming day, and thus also the last opportunity to wear the jovial chicken hat old aunt Doris so graciously handed you around the fire.

Robbery and possible murder in Oslo

If we look around in nooks and crannies in the rest of the country, slightly more dramatic things have happened.

IN Seljord At the time of writing, it is still burning in a barn in Åmotsdalsvegen. The fire service has a controlled burn down of a barn that caught fire. The police will open a case.

Just before three in the morning, the police got in Stavanger report of a break-in at a school in Revheimsveien. A window is broken. The police have carried out investigations at the scene. It turned out not to be a burglary after all, but damage with a broken window towards the gymnasium.

Most dramatically, however, it has been in Oslowhere the police received a report that a woman was found dead around 3 o’clock. It appears to be a possible murder, and a man was arrested at the scene and later charged.

Otherwise, the police in Oslo have received several reports of bad driving in the area during the night. This is put into context with a so-called “StreetMeet” – what can more popularly be called a never-so-small “robber meeting” where it is about meeting to drive fast.

The weather

We are getting closer and closer to summer, unfortunately this is not reflected in today’s weather.

The meteorologists can warn of north-westerly breezes, where on the coast it will increase to a north-easterly gale, with periods of stiff gales on the coast.

There will be some fog from the morning in large parts of Namdalen, some scattered rain and chances of sleet.

In other words; drive carefully on the trip home from the Easter holidays.
