A woman and a man in their late teens were injured in the accident when a car crashed on Europaveien in Telemark. The road is not far from the E18.

– Her condition was serious when she was transported away from the scene of the accident. The man’s injuries were minor, operations manager in the Southeast police district, Øystein Paus Eikedalen, told NTB on Thursday.

The police previously stated that a car with two people had driven off the road and into a stream. In addition to personal injuries, the accident caused extensive material damage.

The police also stated that a light pole had been driven down at the site, and that they had to contact the energy supplier to secure the site.
