– Willing to move from Carrington

--

Earlier this year, it became known that United considered moving from Carrington, and that the club had, among other things, looked at several large golf complexes near Manchester.

One person who has been central to things that have taken place since the takeover is INEOS sporting director Sir Dave Brailsford. One area he has had a particular focus on has dealt with the club’s infrastructure, and Carrington in particular.

According to Samuel Luckhurst in the Manchester Evening News, Brailsford has now come to the conclusion that the club should change the location of its training complex.

Brailsford will swap Carrington for a new training complex.

Brailsford is said to be a man concerned with the small details that can help increase the club’s professionalism, and has compared United to his work in Team Sky and Ineos Grenadiers in the world of cycling.

When it comes to Carrington, he must have concluded that the facility is not suitable as a base for a club that aims to be the best in the world.

Luckhurst further writes that Brailsford has made a positive impression on people at the club after his arrival, and many believe that his knowledge will help to raise the standards at Manchester United to a new level.
