These teams meet each other in the quarter-finals and semi-finals of the cup

On Wednesday, the first quarter-final teams were ready, and shortly afterwards the draw for the upcoming matches was made.

Vålerenga has knocked out two elite series teams on the way to the quarter-finals: Tromsø and HamKam. In the next round, they get to battle another team from the Eliteserien when Fredrikstad comes to Intility Arena.

Sandnes Ulf meets Levanger, who has knocked out both Brann and Viking.

Reigning champion Molde will meet the winner of Thursday’s match between Lillestrøm and Strømsgodset.

The last quarter-final is between Stabæk and KFUM Oslo.

At the same time as the quarter-finals were drawn, the semi-final matches were also drawn.

The team that wins the match between Molde and Lillestrøm/Strømsgodset will meet the winner of the match between Sandnes Ulf and Levanger in the semi-finals.

The winner of the match between Fredrikstad and Vålerenga meets the winner of the match between Stabæk and KFUM Oslo.

– Molde is something you want to avoid, and we did. A dream would be to knock out Fredrikstad and have “Kåffa” in a semi-final. It would have been very nice, said VIF captain Christian Borchgrevink during the NFF’s draw.

The quarter-final matches will be played on 6 October, while the semi-finals take place on 30 October. Some matches may be moved one day.

The final will be played at Ullevaal Stadium on 7 December.
