After four years at Chelsea, Thiago Silva will leave the club at the end of the 2023/24 season, Chelsea reports on its website.

Since his move from Paris Saint-Germain in August 2020, Silva has played 151 games for the Blues. Among other things, he has won the Champions League, the FIFA Club World Cup and the UEFA Super Cup.

Silva has sent the following message to the supporters:

– Chelsea means a lot to me. I came here with the intention of only being here for one year, and it ended up being four years. Not only for me, but also for my family.

– Unfortunately, everything has a beginning, a middle and an end. It does not mean that this is a final end. I hope to leave the door open so that in the near future I can return, albeit in a different role here, says the former PSG and AC Milan player.
