--

KBK’s assistant coach Sander Håskjold Nyland will stay at the club until the 2026 season. On Friday, he signed a new contract with KBK, the club reports in a press release.

See link to video interview with Nyland further down in the article.

– It feels very good, he says in the press release.

– Standing together

– I am in a good place and I feel very comfortable in KBK, which I have done ever since I came here in 2020. I like myself together with Amund (Skiri) and the others in the team, a very nice group of players and I have very believe in what we are doing here. So then it was really a no-brainer, he says further.

The new agreement with Nyland means that the entire team around the first team has the same contract length. Both head coach Amund Skiri, goalkeeper coach Conny Månsson and the entire medical team have contracts that last until the 2026 season.

– We are a team that stands together. It shows that the club has faith in Amund and us who work around him, and wants to have continuity. Both I and the others are very grateful for that, says Nyland in the press release.

Sporting director Eirik Hoseth says this, according to KBK, about the background for giving the entire coaching team the same time perspective:

– This means that we are building a strong team with continuity and an understanding of the club’s values and way of doing business.
