With her in the studio, she will have Carsten Skjelbreid, says a press release from Warner Bros. Discovery.

Discovery got the rights to the Olympics back in 2018, while Olset Hovda is making its debut on the channel. She was previously a popular presenter at NRK and has worked as a PR consultant in recent years. She was also a participant in “Forræder” on TV 2.

– It will be really fun to return to the screen with the Olympics in Paris. I know Carsten from before and am very much looking forward to having broadcasts with him, says Olset Hovda in a press release.

– The very best thing about the Olympics is working with something that so many people get involved with and care about. It will be great to experience again, says Olset Hovda.

– We are very pleased to have had Carina on the team during the Olympics. She has extensive experience as a sports journalist and presenter, and we have absolute faith that she and Carsten will be a very good duo to guide the Norwegian people through this summer’s Olympics, says the Nordic sports director at Warner Bros. Discovery and acting sports director for Norway, Antti Haajanen.

The Olympics will take place in Paris from 26 July to 11 August.

NRK also has rights to all athletics for the Paris Olympics. From 2026 to 2032, NRK and Discovery have secured the rights together.
