Woman injured in roller skiing accident: – Appears serious

The emergency services are on the scene following a report of an accident on county road 523 in the Botshei tunnel in Jørpeland.

A woman on roller skis is involved.

– It appears serious. We have just arrived with our patrol. The sequence of events is unknown, says operations manager Jostein Reiestad in the police in the South-West.

The police do not know if other vehicles are involved, but are interviewing witnesses. Forensic technicians are on their way to the scene.

The road is closed in both directions. The police were notified of the accident at 08:41.
