Several drivers of Russian buses had their driving licenses confiscated – NRK Innlandet – Local news, TV and radio

The police reported on the night of Friday at 03.57 that a driver of a Russian bus had his driver’s license seized in Lunner on the night of Friday.

The reason was that the person in question crossed a double barrier line, and that the driver’s license thus received too many dots.

– The person has been questioned by the police at the scene. The person concerned acknowledged the facts, says operations manager Øyvind Bakken at the police in Innlandet.

There were an estimated 20 people in the Russian bus when it was stopped, he says.

– The size of the fine and the period of confiscation of the driver’s license will be decided by the prosecuting authority.

Blocked the road

Around 04.45, the South-east police district received several reports about Russian buses that had taken up residence in the roadway on Ringeriksveien south of Skaret.

A total of 10 buses were involved and blocked the road in both directions. A smoke machine smoked the area, the police said.

– This is a potentially very dangerous situation for both the Russian and other motorists, says operations manager in the South-East police district Line Bjørnsund.

The incident took place in an unpredictable curve, she adds.

The police were on the scene an hour after the first reports. Six of the buses have been reported and two of the drivers have had their driving licenses confiscated.

Russ was injured

The police all over the country have reported a lot of noise from the waste streams, NTB reports.

Outside Ålesund in Møre og Romsdal, four Russian boys were injured in a fight, and two of them were sent to hospital in an ambulance.

Two coach buses and many people were on the scene when the police arrived at two o’clock.

Also in Bergen, a Russian was taken to hospital by ambulance after being knocked down.
