Protesters are trying to get into the Eurovision Village, according to Aftonbladet’s reporter on the spot.

A large number of police officers prevent the protesters from entering the village. Several of the protesters are wearing masks and have sat outside the entrance to Folkets park in Malmö.
– Eurovision smells like blood, shout the protesters according to the newspaper’s reporter.
The park is just over five kilometers from Malmö Arena, where the competition is held.
The city has been characterized by demonstrations throughout the day. This afternoon over 10,000 people gathered to demonstrate against Israel’s participation in Eurovision.
According to the police in Malmö, nine people have been arrested in connection with demonstrations during the day. One of them is suspected of carrying a knife.
