To a standing ovation, Solveig Barstad (57) became the recipient of the evening’s highest award – the most honorable award.
This is reported by TV 2.
Barstad started his career at NRK Sogn og Fjordane, and later became a channel host, or a so-called “Hallodame” on the main channel.
In 1995, she moved to the then relatively newly started competitor TV 2, where she worked as editor-in-chief and presenter of “Good morning Norway”.
Eventually she became presenter of the series for which she is perhaps best known, namely “TV 2 helps you”.
“Throughout his entire professional life, tonight’s honorary award winner has been on the side of ordinary consumers, investigated and informed about how Norwegian consumers are being deceived, revealed objectionable conditions and put in place suppliers who promise too much,” says the jury’s reasoning.

“Makta” with big slurs
There were a total of three awards up for grabs for the NRK series “Makta” – “best drama series”, “best actor in supporting role drama” and “best actor leading role drama”.
The popular drama series deals with the desperate power struggle in the Labor Party in the 1970s and 80s. The creators themselves say that the series is based on truth, lies and bad memory.
In the acceptance speech it was hinted that there was a lot of material to cover, and that maybe is enough for a new season – if there was to be one..
Casten also took a jab at Conservative Party leader Erna Solberg;
– You politicians make it so easy to make satire of you, or what Erna, said Makta producer Vilje Katrine Hagen from the stage.
Actress Kathrine Thorborg Johansen, who has played Gro Harlem Brundtland, seemed surprised to receive the award.
– Oh, shit. Now it’s about not showing the boobs, Thorborg Johansen said to laughter from the audience, referring to the evening’s attire.
She especially thanked the co-actors in the series.
– As Gro himself has said: everything is connected with everything, and you will not be a good actor without your co-stars, Thorborg Johansen concluded.
Fredrik Solvang received the evening’s first prize
NRK profile and “The Debate” presenter Fredrik Solvang had the honor of receiving the very first award of the evening, namely for “Best presenter in the category of reality, lifestyle and current events.

The popular presenter thanked the NRK editors in his speech to those present.
– It was nice, I have to thank the editors. It’s great to have a group that cuts out anything you say that isn’t funny. Now reality is on the rise, we who work with humor have to push boundaries, said Johansen.
Christian Strand paid tribute to his late father
NRK profile and presenter Christian Strand won the award for best documentary series, for his very personal series “Gitt bort” where he opened up about being adopted as a child from Indonesia.
It was a clearly proud Strand who received the award in Grieghallen this evening.
In his speech, he thanked his wife Madeleine, his children and finally also his late father, Arne Strand.
– Without you, this would not have been possible, Madeleine.
– Then there is someone that I would like to show this to and that I am wearing the suit to today, and that is dad, who I know would say to me today – “Christian, stand up”, says Strand, choking back tears.
Kjartan Lauritzen won the reality award
The artist Kjartan Lauritzen, or Per Sigurdsson Kvikne as he is actually called, won the award for “Best character-driven reality” for the series “6899 till I die”. The series was filmed in his home village, Balestrand.
Cast himself in the lead role
Caroline Glomnes from the NRK series “Cammo” received the award for “Best actor” in the comedy category. She thanked her co-star Katelyn Garbin in her speech. She also thanked NRK.

However, she appeared on the runner without her new husband, Tommy Johansen, according to TV 2.
Fortunately, Tommy was not forgotten in the acceptance speech. And he eventually appeared during the actual distribution.
– I would also like to thank my husband Tommy. He’s been in trouble for two whole weeks, the comedian said to laughter from the audience.
She also thanked the participants in the NRK programme.
