On Tuesday afternoon comes the news that “Line of Duty” star Brian McCardie has passed away. He was 59 years old.
The actor died suddenly and it is his wife who shares the sad news in a post on social media, writes the Daily Mail.

McCardie is best known for his role as John Thomas Hunter in the crime series “Line of Duty”. He has also appeared in an episode of “Outlander”.
“It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Brian James Cardie. A beloved son, brother, uncle and a good friend to so many,” writes his wife Sarah on X.

Furthermore, it emerges that the actor died suddenly on Sunday.
“A wonderful and passionate actor on stage and on screen. Brian loved his work and touched many and has passed away far too soon,” continues his wife.
“We love him and will miss him deeply. Please keep Brian in your thoughts.”
