Actress Anne Hathaway (41) is immediately in the news with her new film “The Idea of You”, one of many romantic films that Hathaway can leave behind.
Lost unborn child: – Very difficult
In a new interview with V Magazine, she now talks about how the industry has changed since she started over 20 years ago.
According to Hathaway, it was common in the 2000s to have actors flirt with each other to check if there was chemistry.
– I was told: “We have ten guys coming here today and you already have the role. Aren’t you looking forward to kissing them all?”. I thought, “Is there something wrong with me?”, because I wasn’t happy. I thought it sounded disgusting.
– I was so young and was very aware of how easy it was to lose everything if you were seen as “difficult”, so I just had to pretend I was mad.
The 41-year-old does not reveal which film it is about, and emphasizes that she bears no grudge over the incident.
– There was no abuse of power and no one wanted to be mean or hurt me. It was just a very different time and now we know better.
Arousing attention after this
Several measures have now been put in place to make the experience on film sets more pleasant for everyone involved.
Now, for example, it is common to have a so-called intimate coordinator, who will help the actors to be comfortable with both each other and the crew during intimate scenes.
