News, Russ | Many reports about noise – two Russian buses received a red card

--

As Romerikes Blad has already mentioned, the police have started a new system to prevent the Russians from keeping the population awake at night. It had to be put into use last night.

– It is a recurring problem and this night too we received many reports about noise. Among other things, we moved out to Gardermoen motorpark where we checked 14 Russian buses. All of these were ordered to calm down and were expelled, says operations manager Finn Håvard Aas in the East police district.

In the fight to prevent noise from the Russians, the police have started by issuing yellow and red cards. A yellow card is a clear warning that you must calm down. If they are caught again for noise, they can risk a so-called red card.

– This is exactly what happened to two of the buses we checked last night. We therefore seized their sound system, says Aas.

A Russian bus from Asker was also expelled from the East police district for 48 hours due to noise.

Next to Russian noise, there has only been one mission to report from the police log during the night. Around half past one, a car was stopped by a patrol on Jessheim.

– Here the driver – a woman in her late teens – was drunk. She had her driving license confiscated and was sent to the emergency room to take blood tests, says Aas.
