READER SUBMISSION: 1 May speech from the leader of Nordland SV

County leader for Nordland SV, Jitse Buitink, has written a 1 May speech for the citizens of Nordland. The entire speech is reproduced below.

The fight brings it eternal peace

Dear friend, big or small.
Hope you have time to follow along a bit.
I want to speak against injustice and for those who are tired
and about the eternal struggle before peace.

Æ is marred inside the margin
what a mess the world has become.
Æ put me with the sadness
lead the boy in Palestine, lead the boy in Ukraine who is stuck in blood, mud and shit.

Now I want to do more!
More than just watching the misery being counted.
I want to work before there are more of us,
several who are tired of being pawns in the capitalists’ spell.

We must band together,
stand on the barricade and use power in words.
That is why we celebrate today,
before getting a terrible soil.

We’ll make them count to shame,
those who put down the safety of our expectant mothers.
Those who steal the fescue will be punished,
those who will no longer be allowed to look away, those who squeeze the life out of our brothers.

Dear friend, big or small.
It’s so good that you are the one with it
to fight against injustice and before those who are tired
and the battle brings it eternal peace.
