Two eleven-year-old girls missing

--

South-East police district writes on X that they, together with several others, are looking for two eleven-year-old girls in Sandefjord near Bugården.

They should not have turned up for school today.

– It was the parents who reported to the police. We don’t know why they didn’t show up at school today. Police resources, including a helicopter, are searching for them. The police will continuously assess whether we want to call in volunteers, says operations manager Christian Prytz to Dagbladet.

Prytz emphasizes that there is currently no reason to believe that the girls have been subjected to a criminal offence.

A short time later, just before 12 o’clock, the police report that both girls have recovered.

They are asking for tips from the public, which can be reported to the police on 02800.
