You can now sign up for Books at Haugesund
In line with last year’s model will Books at Haugesund again this year arrange exclusive one-on-one meetings between literary agents and film producers who are looking for exciting material suitable for the big screen. Literary agents are invited to participate with up to two projects. The projects will be shared with the producers before the festival, so that we can match projects with the right producers and pre-plan private one-on-one meetings based on this. .
Arrangement takes place Wednesday 21 August. We will host an informal dinner following the event, which provides an excellent opportunity for networking with producers and other literary agents.
We invite you to submit a synopsis and relevant information for up to selected books, which will serve as the basis for the one-on-one meetings.
For the selected literary projects, we offer:
– Tailored one-to-one meetings with Nordic film producers
– Accommodation for 2 nights for a literary agent (20 – 22 August)
– Tailored one-to-one meetings with Nordic film producers
– Breakfast at the hotel
– Festival accreditation which gives free access to the Nordic Film Market as well as all screenings, seminars, events and activities
