Trondheim municipality is contributing one million to the upgrade of Dødens dal.

This is how the Welfare Board envisions the Valley of Death in the future.

It became clear on Tuesday after Ap’s Trude Basso proposed it to the chairmanship in Trondheim. This is reported by Adresseavisen.

Have to say no to hundreds of students every year, now they want to graduate Death Valley

In March, NTNUI, the Welfare Council and Sit announced that they wanted to upgrade Dødens dal in connection with the support filling that is needed due to the campus collection project of NTNU.

NTNUI has already set aside one million for the project itself.

– We hope that others will also follow to get the splicing team of around NOK five million to increase, said head of NTNUI Jenny Hunvik in March.

NTNUI has wanted the project to be a joint venture with the Student Association, NTNU, the Students’ Association and Trondheim municipality.

Today, Dødens Dal consists of a small football field and two sand volleyball courts. The hope is that the valley will be expanded so that there will be room for two full-scale sevens courts, two additional sand volleyball courts and a universally designed arrival.
